Anyway, there are thousands of amazing roads in America that make for great rides, every state has amazing rides, and many could be argued as the best. My personal favorite is riding through the Chinook Pass in Washington State during the summer months. It is hard to beat the beauty of Mt. Rainier National Park on a warm (but not to warm, we are talking high 70s-mid 80s) summer's day. There are great curves on the roads, and minimal traffic, plus lots of great spots to stop for a bite to eat at either end of the pass. I have to be especially aware of gas on this trip though, cause it is quite a long one and the only gas stations are at the beginning and end of the trip.
There are many other great rides I have been on from Mt. Lemmon outside of Tucson, to rides down the Pacific Coast. I haven't, unfortunately, had the pleasure of riding east of the Mississippi yet, but I will sometime in the near future I am sure. I have however been told one of the best rides back east is on Route 9 in Ohio. This ride cuts straight down the east side of Ohio and apparently has some amazing curvy roads.
I found this list which is in a convenient PDF file of some of the best rides in every state, and so that is the focus of our blog today! We would love to know what your favorite rides are, and any new and exciting rides that we haven't heard of before. Let us know, and as always, stay safe out there!
